How to Create a Signature in Outlook Express

To set up your email signature in Windows Mail or Outlook Express:

• Select Tools | Options... from the menu in Windows Mail or Outlook Express.
• Go to the Signatures tab.
• Click New.
• Type the text of your signature under Edit Signature.
  • Try to limit your signature to 4-5 lines of text, and
  • possibly use the standard signature delimiter.
  • This field is for plain text only, but you can also enrich your signature with HTML formatting.

Solution for the TM net Streamyx block the SMTP port 25

Recently TM net Streamyx had block the smtp port 25. please refer to our previous articles

Entertop Network our perfection technical teams had fine a solution for the problems.

We have create a new port 587 & port 2525, you may use this port to sending out the email.

For Outlook Express User please follow the bellow steps


1. incoming mail (pop3): mail.yourdomain.com example : mail.entertop.net
outgoing mail (smtp): mail.yourdomain.com example: mail.entertop.net

2. Account name : name@domain.com example: info@entertop.net

3. Outgoing Mail server, my server requires authentication (tick) the check box


4. On the Advance Tab, Server Port Number Outgoing mail (SMTP) change to 587 or 2525

5. Click Ok, Enjoy sending email

TMnet Streamyx blocks SMTP port 25

Dear all Tm net streamyx user must read.

1. www.dannyfoo.com - TMNet Disables Port 25 to Block Email Spam
2. www.asia.cnet.com - Going gaga over Port 25
3. www.romantika.name - TMNet Decides to Block Port 25
4. jeffooi.com - Customers cry foul over TM Net mail proxy server
   

Replace of the smtp-proxy.tm.net.my - SMTP Server

Dear All Value Customer,

Recently Tm Net blocked all the smtp-proxy.tm.net.my. outbound Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) traffic or port 25 for all out going e-mails from dynamic IP addresses. Only Outbound SMTP traffic from smtp.streamyx.com and smtp.tm.net.my will be allowed.

1. For Mircosoft Outlook user Please click here
2. For Outlook Express user, Please follow the bellow steps.

Example your domain name(Website address) is "ABCcompany.com"

1. Please key in the pop3 and smtp
POP3 : Mail.ABCcompany.com
SMTP : smtp.streamyx.com

2. Account Name : info@ABCcompany.com
Password : your email hosting password

3. tick the My server requires authentication

4. Click the settings

5. click the log on using
Key in your streamyx email address
Key in your streamyx email password

6. Click ok

How to import Internet Account File (*.iaf) into Outllook Express

Some one send you a Internet Account file (xxx.iaf), you need to import into your Outlook Express.

Here is the steps import the *.iaf file into Microsoft Outlook Express
Step 1
Open Outlook Express
Then click the Tools > Accounts



Step 2
Then click the Import
Select the Internet Account Files (*.iaf) the click Open

Complete
Now you may received your email and send your email
